Aliens: Crucible, also known as Aliens RPG is an unreleased RPG by Obsidian Entertainment that was to be published by Sega that took place in the Aliens franchise. The game was announced in 2006, but when Aliens vs. Predator was announced in 2009 it was put on indefinite hold. Later in 2009 the game was officially announced as cancelled.
In an interview with Game Informer[1], writer Eric Fenstermaker said they were just starting to wrap their heads around how to make an RPG set in the Aliens universe when the game was cancelled. Shortly before Sega decided to pull the plug on the project the development team had just put together a secondary vertical slice demo.
