Crazy Taxi: Catch a Ride is an entry in the Crazy Taxi series , and was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. Despite using one of Sega's intellectual properties, the game was developed by Graphic State Limited and published by THQ in the US and Infogrames Europe in Europe.
Despite running on inferior hardware, Catch a Ride attempts to mimic the first Crazy Taxi game, running in 3D and using a similar street layout. Hardware restrictions mean the graphics are far blockier and less detailed, and there are less objects and detail on the roads, but it is still seen as something quite remarkable as most GBA games are 2D.
