Jun Matsunaga (松永 純) is a director at Sega of Japan who joined in 2002[5] (most likely at WOW Entertainment). His first notable projects were in the arcade, creating the concept and design Sangokushi Taisen and Sengoku Taisen franchises, which he also directed. He later entered the mobile market with Chain Chronicle, pioneering the RPG genre for the new medium. For this title, he was heavily involved, fulfilling the same 3 roles as his previous games, but also conceiving of characters, the world and the plot. At Sega Interactive R&D1, he continued to act as general director of the Chain series and had input on all the department's mobile games as a Playing Manager[5][1][6].
In 2018, Matsunaga wrote the book Chain Chronicle Kara Manabu Smartphone RPG no Tsukurikata.
