Looney Tunes: By a Hare is an arcade racing game featuring characters from Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes cartoon shorts. According to one account of the game, it was to be a 2D animated game where the player(s) race against opponents through an obstacle course.[1]
Little is known about this release. It was previewed at the Amusement Machine Show 1993 in Japan, but it cannot currently be confirmed whether the machine ever made it into mass production - the lack of screenshots, gameplay footage or a ROM dump suggests it may have been scrapped after the show. No versions of the game have ever been sighted outside of Japan, event or otherwise. It has been suggested it was built to run on some form of Sega System 32 hardware.
Extremely dithered photographs sourced from captures of the machine's monitor are known to exist, but because of their extremely poor quality it's hard to discern what the game actually is about.
