Makoto Uchida (内田 誠) is the founder and president of Sega of China. He designed various successful arcade games throughout the 80's and 90's, with some of his best-known including Altered Beast, Golden Axe and Wing War. While originally employed at Sega Enterprises in Japan, he was stationed at Sega of America throughout the late 90's, developing the Dynamite Deka series and Alien Front Online, before moving to China in 2002 to develop the 2005 reboot of Altered Beast. Following Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 26: Dynamite Deka, he has ceased his work as director, instead overseeing Sega of China's projects as producer/supervisor. He has also been consulted on the representation of Golden Axe and Altered Beast in crossover projects such as Sega Superstars Tennis and Sega Heroes.
