Bandai Namco Entertainment (株式会社バンダイナムコゲームスエンターテインメント) is a Japanese video game and entertainment company formed from the merger of the video game divisions of Bandai and Namco in 2006. It was originally known as Bandai Namco Games (株式会社バンダイナムコゲームス) until April 2015[2]. Prior to 2014 the company continued to operate its Bandai, Namco and Banpresto brand names.

As with some other divisions of the Bandai Namco conglomerate, in Western markets the company was often referred to as Namco Bandai Games Inc., emphasising the Namco side over the Bandai one.

In 2018, as part of a group restructuring, the arcade development division of BNEI was transferred to the second incarnation of Namco, renaming itself to Bandai Namco Amusement in the process.

The company also operates an American branch, Bandai Namco Entertainment America as well as a European branch Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, an Australian/New Zealander branch Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia alongside regional branches in Singapore (serving Southeast Asia), South Korea, Hong Kong & Taiwan.
