- 1994 - Mortal Kombat II: Kyuukyoku Shinken is released for the Sega Mega Drive alongside Kenyuu Densetsu Yaiba and Mortal Kombat II: Kyuukyoku Shinken for the Sega Game Gear in Japan. - 1999 - The Sega Dreamcast is launched in North America.
