- 1993 - Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2 Hisshou Kouryakuhou, a book, is released in Japan. Thunderhawk is released for the Sega Mega-CD in the United Kingdom.
- 1994 - The CSD-G1M, a CD player which features compatibility with Sega Mega Drive and Sega Mega-CD games, is released in Japan.
- 1995 - Comix Zone, Judge Dredd, and Justice League Task Force are released for the Sega Mega Drive alongside Kishin Douji Zenki for the Sega Game Gear, Fahrenheit for the Sega Mega-CD, NBA Jam Tournament Edition and WWF Raw for the Super 32X, as well as Jissen Mahjong for the Sega Saturn in Japan.
