The UK Sega Games Championships was an event held in 1993, sponsored by Williams Formula One, which consisted of a tournament between 16 teenagers and a separate tournament between (probably 16) under-13s. The event was hosted by presenters Chris Evans and Violet Berlin, with an appearance by Formula One driver Damon Hill. Games featured in the competition include Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Devil Crash. Winners in the 13-18 and under-13 categories were Karl Roberts[1][2] and Alan Son[1][2] respectively. Their prizes were tickets to Donington Park, a Sega Mega-CD and a signed racing helmet.

Both winners were entitled to a place in the Sega European Championships 1993 final, held in Vienna, Austria on the 4th September of the same year.
