Atlus West, formerly Atlus U.S.A., Inc., Atlus Software, Inc., and between 2010 and 2014, Index Digital Media, is an American subsidiary of Atlus, originally established in 1991 as Asuka Technologies, Inc.. Atlus West's function is to translate Japanese games into English; with Atlus' merger into Sega in 2013, this remit extended to Japanse-made Sega games too.
