Sega Europe, Ltd. was a European subsidiary of Sega Enterprises, Inc., established in 1980 as distribution arm for the company's arcade games.
In 1991, likely as a result of Sega absorbing their European home consumer distributor Virgin Mastertronic (and to make the distinction between its consumer and arcade operations), this Sega Europe became Sega Amusements Europe. Virgin Mastertronic became a different Sega Europe.
