The Dual, also known as the VIC Dual (Video Interface Chip Dual[n 1]) is an arcade system produced by Gremlin. Sega Enterprises, Inc. acquired it as part of their acquisition of Gremlin in 1978, and its Japanese subsidiary started developing games for it as a result. The Dual uses the Z80 processor and sound is handled by a discrete logic sound card unique to each game. Dual cabinets contained two games.
