Project X Zone (プロジェクト クロスゾーン) (pronounced "Project Cross Zone") is an upcoming tactical RPG for the Nintendo 3DS. It is being developed by Banpresto to be published by Namco Bandai Games and is expected to be released in the latter half of 2012. Project X Zone is notable for being a crossover game, combining franchises of Namco Bandai, Capcom and Sega.
So far confirmed Sega characters include Sakura Shinguji and Ichiro Ogami from Sakura Taisen, Akira Yuki and Pai Chan from Virtua Fighter, Kurt Irving and Riela Marceris from Senjou no Valkyria 3, Ulala from Space Channel 5, Toma and Cyrille from Shining Force EXA, the Harrier from Space Harrier and Opa-Opa from Fantasy Zone.
