Back to: Divine Sealing.

Development

As one of the earliest unlicensed Sega Mega Drive games ever produced, Studio Fazzy was unaware of Sega's proprietary TradeMark Security System tests , and specifically lacks a check for the word SEGA at address $A14000. Due to this, Divine Sealing will only operate on early and mid-life revisions of system hardware. Additionally, the game is one of few Mega Drive games to operate exclusively in a 256x224 resolution.

Divine Sealing utilizes the Opus sound driver from the 1991 Jorudan game Task Force Harrier EX.

Cartridge design

The unique Sega Mega Drive cartridge used by both the company's released games.

Both Studio Fazzy's games (Divine Sealing and Dial Q o Mawase!) feature the same cartridge design, appearing similar in shape to Sunsoft's rounded Mega Drive cartridges but with the lower section of each side removed. The extra clearance afforded by the cartridge's slimmer lower half allows it to be inserted into any Mega Drive system, regardless of region or shell.
