Gameplay
Premier Manager on the Mega Drive is a derivative of the 1993 release of Premier Manager 2, originally designed for the Amiga, Atari ST and IBM PC compatible computers. As a football management game, the objective is not strictly to win matches, but to make money. That is to say, at no point does the user actually get to kick a football in-game.
While football management games had appeared in various forms for home computers in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Premier Manager on the Mega Drive stands as one of the first attempts to bring this genre to home consoles. It is the only football management game to be released on the Mega Drive.
