Manuel Velázquez Villaverde (a.k.a Manolo Velázquez) was a former Spanish footballer who played as a central midfielder, best known for his twelve years spent in La Liga with the Spanish professional football club Real Madrid. After retiring as a professional footballer at the age of 35, he joined Segasa in 1984[2] as the Marketing Manager[3][4], remaining in that role until 1994[5].
He was son-in-law of Francisco Arbós Balleste[6], President[7] and one of the co-founders of Madrid-based Petaco S.A. (Procedimientos Electromagnéticos de Tanteo y Color S.A., founded on March 16th, 1962), one of the largest manufacturers of arcade and pinball machines in Spain at the time [8][9] (in such a way that even its name "petaco" became slang for "pinball" in some regions of the country[10]) and one of Segasa's main competitors.
