Takuya Matsumoto (松本 卓也) is a former programmer at Sega of Japan who mainly dealt in system-related matters[1]. He is best-known for his work on Ristar, NiGHTS Into Dreams and Sonic Adventure.

This developer has since left Sonic Team for Naoto Ohshima's Artoon.
