The Handy Gear is an accessory for the Sega Game Gear released by STD. It has many functions; it acts as a protective case, has a screen magnifier, has a carrying strap, and has a storage space which holds one cart. It claims to be water resistant, which is useful in case something should get spilled on it. The START button also has a new button placed over it which is probably easier to press and useful in games that use it frequently such as NBA Jam and NBA Jam Tournament Edition.
