Wing Commander is a groundbreaking game by Origin Systems for IBM PC compatibles. It was ported to a number of systems including the Sega Mega-CD.
The game was also reportedly in development for the Sega Mega Drive, with the cartridge containing an extra graphics chip for scaling and rotation.[2] This was cancelled in favour of the Mega-CD version.
