Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia is a Sega Mega-CD encyclopedia program developed and published by Compton's NewMedia. A port of the developer's titular 1993 Windows PC program Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia, it was released exclusively in the United States in 1994, both as a stand-alone product and as a pack-in title for the JVC X'Eye.

History
Three revisions of Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia were released. The first, bundled with the JVC X'Eye and internally dated May 1994, is the title's base release.
