System16 lumps Z80-based games that aren't on the System boards or some other hardware (what's his logic?) together, but MAME shows us that they are not the sme board. In fact I should see how MAME organizes Sega arcade games, but this should do for now.
Super Locomotive Super Moon Cresta YamatoGame | Year | Hardware |
---|---|---|
Ali Baba and 40 Thieves | 1982 | Pac-Man |
Bank Panic | 1984 | custom used only with Bank Panic and Combat Hawk |
Calorie-kun vs. Moguranian | 1986 | custom |
Commando | 1983 | Rally X |
Crowns Golf / Champion Golf | 1984 | Custom by Nasco Japan only used by these two games. I don't know where System16 got the Sega part from though... The Champion Golf on the SG-1000 is a completely different game. |
Crowns Golf In Hawaii | 1985 | |
Flower | 1986 | Custom. 90% certain Sega didn't make this. |
Hopper Robo | 1983 | This (Orca hardware?) |
Jump Bug | ?? (1981?) | Galaxian; MAME says this was developed by other companies and apparently has nothing to do with Sega? The Japanese flyer on System16 sure says Sega |
Moon Cresta | 1980 | Galaxian; supposedly developed by Nichibutsu and licensed to Gremlin???? not sure... |
Pengo / Penta | 1982 | custom (a bootleg of Jr. Pac-Man also exists for this hardware; Jr. Pac-Man itself runs on its own hardware) |
Space Firebird | 1980 | Custom used by this and Space Demon. Looks like a Nintendo game licensed to Gremlin... |
