Sega AM7 was a video game research and development division within Sega, the seventh of eight to co-exist between 1990 and 1998. AM7's employees originated from the older Sega division, Sega Consumer Division #2.

Throughout its run, Sega AM7 was headded by Noriyoshi Oba. It is the division notable for continuing the Shinobi and Phantasy Star series of games, as well as creating Streets of Rage and Sakura Taisen.

Following a reshuffle in 1998, Sega AM7 became Overworks.
