History
Release
Brian Lara Cricket was a surprise success for Codemasters. While initial feedback from retail was that the game was unlikely to sell, 20,000 copies were manufactured by Codemasters' own plant during 1995[2]. The game was sold out within three days[3], with roughly 80,000 units produced overall[3] (only going out of print to make room for Brian Lara Cricket 96).
