Cutthroat Island is a 1995 beat-'em-up for the SNES, Sega Mega Drive, and Sega Game Gear by Acclaim and Software Creations tying into Carloco's disastrous 1995 film. A Sega Master System version of this game was planned at one stage, but was cancelled for unknown reasons.

A/1 punches/kicks, B/2 swings your sword, and C/Up jumps (on Mega Drive and Game Gear, respectively). While the Mega Drive game has Golden Axe-style projection conventional of beat-'em-ups, the Game Gear game has more of a platformer-like camera.
