Sega Arcade Gallery is a compilation of four 1980s arcade games developed by Sega AM2. It was released exclusively on the Game Boy Advance in 2003.

Gameplay
Sega Arcade Gallery houses four ports of Sega arcade machines; After Burner (interestingly, this is a port of the original 1987 After Burner, not of After Burner II), OutRun (1986), Space Harrier (1985) and Super Hang-On (1987). Each conversion is relatively faithful to its arcade counterpart, but the graphics are slightly brighter and various tweaks have been made in order for the games to fit within the Game Boy Advance's smaller resolution.
After Burner
As the most technically advanced game of the four, the Sega Arcade Gallery version of After Burner makes the most cutbacks. Fewer sprites are rendered on-screen at any one time, making the ground appear more "patchy" than its arcade counterpart. Futhermore, the smoke effects while taking off or crashing are simplified.
The conversion tries to hide some of these cutbacks by positioning of the plane and camera slightly higher up. This means less time is generally spent looking at the ground, as the horizon is lower down the screen.
OutRun
On the Game Boy Advance, a lower resolution road is used in OutRun, giving a more pixellated look are oblique angles. Again, fewer sprites are rendered at any one time giving a simpler look to some of the scenery, although many of the omissions are less obvious than After Burner.
Space Harrier
Space Harrier is the most accurate of the four conversions, being almost arcade perfect save for the smaller resolution.
Super Hang-On
As with OutRun, the Sega Arcade Gallery version of Super Hang-On uses a lower resolution track than its arcade counterpart. It also suffers from minor slowdowns if too many objects are rendered on-screen at once.
