Metropolis was the first Sega-branded arcade to open in the United Kingdom, and was located in the basement of Hamleys at 188-196 Regent Street, Soho, London.

Little is known about Metropolis' history, aside from opening in November 1992 and housing a rare R360 machine[1] and the "Sega Net Merc"[2] system. It is thought to have re-branded to become a generic arcade in the early 2000s, shortly after Leisure Exchange assumed control of it and the other remaining Sega venues located in the UK.
