PGA Tour Golf II is a Sega Mega Drive fitness golf game developed and published by HeartBeat Corporation. A port of the 1992 Polygames title PGA Tour Golf II specifically designed to utilize the fitness sensor-integrated Mega Drive peripheral HeartBeat Catalyst[1], it was released exclusively in the United States in 1995 in an extremely-limited run, and is one of the single-rarest commercially-available Sega Genesis games in existence.

History

Legacy

During a Portland Retro Gaming Expo sometime in the mid-2010s, a private collector in possession of PGA Tour Golf II (the YouTube user Vidja Gamer) met with game preservationist Frank Cifaldi to finally dump the game's ROM.[5] Although reportedly a success, the ROM has not yet been released to the public.
