New UFO Catcher (ニューUFOキャッチャー) is a crane game released by Sega in 1991.

New UFO Catcher is the "fourth generation" UFO Catcher to be produced by Sega, and is arguably one of the more iconic machines of its type. Prior UFO Catchers, UFO Catcher, UFO Catcher DX and UFO Catcher DX II are thought to have been recalled due to safety concerns, and the popularity of this model during the early 1990s means this is one of the more common UFO Catchers to be produced by the company.

New UFO Catcher is operated in much the same way as older models, however the "tank" is much larger, putting a greater emphasis on prizes. The edges have also been rounded off and the cabinet made more sturdy. By default, the BGM played by the machine is a selection of level tracks from Sonic the Hedgehog, but other BGM loops may be selected from the machine's settings, including classical music, showtunes, and the opening/ending themes from Chibi Maruko-chan, a popular anime series at the time.

A Team NFL version was also produced exclusively for Sigma arcades, featuring National Football League-themed cabinet graphics and FM synthesis covers of Van Halen and The Meters songs.[2]
