The Magnavox Odyssey², is a video game console released in 1978 by Philips' subsidiary Magnavox in the United States and as the Videopac G7000 by Philips themselves Europe. An upgraded version, the Videopac G7400 was released in 1983 which retained full compatibility with the older system.
