Stadia was a cloud gaming platform launched in 2019 by Google.
On September 29, 2022, Google announced that it would be shutting down Stadia on January 18, 2023. During the interim customers could no longer buy games but were still able to play ones already owned. In mid-January 2023, Google offered full refunds of every single purchase for every Stadia user.
