Shintaro Kai is a Japanese game designer, director and producer.[2] He joined Sega Corporation in 2007, primarily working on game design for Sonic Team-branded titles at CS2 until 2012, when he transferred to Sega of China as a studio manager. There, he established project roadmaps, game designs, and budgets for a variety of arcade, mobile, and console titles. Kai most prominently sub-led game design on Transformers Human Alliance, as well as producing and directing new conversions of NiGHTS into Dreams and Crazy Taxi, among other projects.[1]
Kai left Sega Shanghai Studio in 2014 and has since worked for DeNA, Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, Knowledgehook, TLM Partners, and Accelbyte.[1]
