SoftBank (ソフトバンク) is a Japanese multimedia and telephony company.
They published many books about PC and Video games from 1981. They were spun off the publishing division in 1991 to SoftBank Publishing, and renamed to SoftBank Creative.
In the 1990s they published games as both Soft Bank and as Game Bank (ゲームバンク). In the 2000s they started a mobile phone subsidiary, SoftBank Mobile.
