The Holster Case is, as the name suggests, an official method of carrying a Sega Game Gear when out of the house. It was only sold in North America and was offered as one of the smaller carrying options, larger official alternatives being the Standard Carrying Case and Deluxe Carry-All Case.
The Holster Case was designed to hold the basic essentials of a Game Gear, including the system itself and, perhaps ironically, a Game Gear Battery Pack to help circumvent the often criticised battery life of the console.
