Brian Lara Cricket is a 1995 cricket game for the Sega Mega Drive by Audiogenic Software and Codemasters released for the Sega Mega Drive exclusively in Europe. It was followed by Brian Lara Cricket 96.
History
Release
Brian Lara Cricket was a surprise success for Codemasters. While initial feedback from retail was that the game was unlikely to sell, 20,000 copies were manufactured by Codemasters' own plant during 1995[2]. The game was sold out within three days[3], with roughly 80,000 units produced overall[3] (only going out of print to make room for Brian Lara Cricket 96).
