Grid Runner (グリッド ランナー), known as Grid Run in Europe, is a Sega Saturn game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Virgin Interactive.

Gameplay

It is like a game of tag, set in space, in which the player who isn't "it" needs to run around a play area changing the color of flags. Once a set number of flags have been changed to the player's color, the player wins.

History

Grid Runner originally started as a Super Nintendo game called Eurit, before development was brought over to the Saturn and PlayStation. A SNES prototype from May 1995 has since been found.
