UFO Dream Town JP (UFOドリームタウンJP) is an arcade prize dispensing game created by Sega in 2004. It is an updated version of Sega's earlier Dream Town with improved aesthetics, the ability to dispense slightly larger prizes, and increased ease of use.
UFO Dream Town JP contains a rotating carousel filled with candy or small toys. After inserting one credit, the player gets four attempts to time the descent of a scoop into the prize carousel and the dumping of the scoop's contents onto a pusher table similar to the ones seen in coin pusher games. If enough prizes are dumped onto the pusher table, they will be pushed off and fall into the prize drop. After all four plays are used, the player gets a chance to spin a "roulette wheel", consisting of a green light encircling a tray of prizes on the top of the playfield. If the green light stops in the "red zone" in front of the player, the player wins the "jackpot", and the upper prize tray is dumped onto the pusher table.
Both UFO Dream Town JP and its predecessor are based off of Sweet Land, a popular candy-dispensing game originally released by Namco in 1985.
