The Sega PAC is a Pioneer LaserActive hardware expansion module which allows the system to play Sega Mega Drive, Sega Mega-CD, and Sega Mega LD games. Shipping with the Pioneer-branded Six Button Control Pad (LaserActive), the PAC was reportedly the most popular expansion among owners of the system.
The PAC is region locked, and will only play games encoded for that PAC's region.
