Berlin no Kabe (ベルリンの壁) is a Sega Game Gear puzzle action game developed by Inter State[1] and published by Kaneko.[1] A port of the publisher's 1991 arcade game The Berlin Wall, it was released exclusively in Japan in November 1991.

Gameplay

Each level consists of ladders and platforms. Each platform can be broken with your hammer (2). The goal of each level is to try to get the enemies to fall into the holes. When an enemy falls into a hole, you have a limited time go to that enemy and hit it again to destroy it. The level ends when all enemies are destroyed. 1 recreates blocks you already destroyed, in case you get stuck. At the end of every level you can go to a shop to buy things, a quick bonus stage, and then a boss.

History

The original arcade game was also ported to the Sega Mega Drive in January 1992 as Wani Wani World.

A United States release was once advertised, but ultimately cancelled for unknown reasons.

Legacy

A Sega Master System GG2SMS hack was released in March 2018.[5]
