- 1989 - Hokuto no Ken: Shin Seikimatsu Kyuuseishu Densetsu is released for the Sega Mega Drive in Japan.
- 1990 - Mega Drive no Subete II, a book, is released in Japan.
- 1993 - The Sega Mega Jet is released for Japanese Airlines to use.
- 1994 - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Koushiki Guide Book, a book, is released alongside NBA Pro Basketball '94 for the Sega Mega Drive and the Imagineer DigitalPad MD third-party controller in Japan. Streets of Rage 3 is released for the Sega Mega Drive alongside Innoventions opening at Epcot at Walt Disney World, with 10,000 sq ft of space being devoted to Sega games in North America.
