Tetsuya Ohtsubo (大坪 鉄也) is a video game director at Sega of Japan. He joined Sega n 2002[1], being seconded to developer Overworks, as he had helped this company a few years prior developing Skies of Arcadia and Sakura Taisen 3: Paris wa Moeteiru ka. He worked as a game designer on the development of console titles like Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love, and as director of the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA series[2]. After said series' developer CS R&D Dept. #3 was dissolved, he joined Sega Games CS Studio 2, returning to one of his earliest Sega IPs with Shin Sakura Taisen[1]
Ohtsubo has a particular affinity for glasses, and picked out many of the glasses available as accessories in the Project DIVA games[3].
