AT&T, Inc., formerly known as Southwestern Bell and SBC, is an American multinational telecommunications company headquartered at Whitacre Tower in Downtown Dallas, Texas. It is one of the top cellular phone service provides in the United States, generally doing business under the name AT&T Wireless.
In 2005, SBC merged with AT&T Corporation renaming themselves into AT&T in the process. The AT&T Corporation entity would continue until 2024.

The company operated North American internet services for the Dreamcast under the name AT&T WorldNet. AT&T Wireless customers also had access to the mMode service, an early 2000s mobile phone service where users could play a variety of handheld ports of Sega games.
