Alan J. Murphy is an American artist and former video game art director, animator, and freelance artist[2][1] who worked with Sega of America during the first half of the 1990s.

Career

Around 1993 or 1994, STT Video Partners contracted Alan Murphy (while he was apparently working at an East Coast design firm known as Alan Brooks Design) to create the Sega Channel's famous logo.[3][4]
