MTV Sports: Skateboarding Featuring Andy Macdonald is a skateboarding game for the Sega Dreamcast. It is considered to be THQ's response to Activision's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, being fronted by Andy Macdonald. Macdonald was originally set to be included in THPS, but as the game concentrated on street skating rather than vert skating (and a planned vert skating mode was dropped), he was left out.

Gameplay

The single player portion of MTV Sports: Skateboarding is similar to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, in that the player is dropped into an open environment and has to accomplish tasks within a set time limit.
