NordicQuest is a third-party Sega Mega Drive fitness accessory manufactured by ExerGame[1] and distributed by NordicTrack[1] in early 1995.[2]
Hardware
NordicQuest is specifically designed for NordicTrack's dedicated ski exercise machines, sliding securely onto the top of the machine's rounded control panel and featuring an attached Sega Mega Drive controller cable. Connected to the main unit are two handlebar controllers containing a directional pad and face buttons, which replace the ski machine's removable handles.
The NordicQuest interfaces directly with the exercise machine itself, and uses the position of the flywheel (along with the handlebar controllers) to control gameplay while exercising at the same time.[1]
The hardware is also compatible with the Nintendo Super Famicom by way of its attached controller cable.
