Rambo is a 2008 arcade light gun game developed by for Sega Lindbergh hardware.
This game is notable for two reasons. Firstly because it is based on the Rambo film franchise which means it is the first time Sega have touched the franchise since Rambo III on the Mega Drive (and could stand as a "sequel" to the Master System version). Secondly, Sega hired Hiroshi Fujioka to help market the machine, a man best known in Sega circles for portraying Segata Sanshiro. Sega Logistics Service announced it would end service on the arcade machines on March 31, 2017.[2][3]

History
Development
The game was primarily created by Polygon Magic, with leadership from several members of Sega AM1 responsible for their long-running gun shooting franchise The House of the Dead. The one exception was game designer Wataru Kawashima, a former members of Sega AM2 who directed a different gun shooter, Virtua Cop 2.
