The 8-bit versions of Sylvester and Tweety in Cagey Capers are unreleased iterations of Sylvester and Tweety in Cagey Capers for the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear. TecMagik announced the Game Gear version alongside its Mega Drive counterpart at Summer CES 1993[2].
Little is known about the 8-bit version of the game (assuming, as was the trend at the time, that the two versions were broadly similar), though it thought to have been a simplified adaption of its 16-bit counterpart. The Master System version, at one planned for "late summer" 1994[1] would have released prior to the Mega Drive and Game Gear versions in autumn[1]. Both had disappeared by the middle of 1994.
Publishing duties for the Mega Drive version of Cagey Capers were transferred to Time Warner Interactive at some point in 1994. It is unknown if TWI were involved at any stage in these 8-bit versions.
