Tiny Toon Adventures: ACME All-Stars is a sports game featuring the cast of Tiny Toon Adventures. It was released exclusively for the Sega Mega Drive in 1994.

    Story

ACME Looniversity is holding a sports tournament to determine the best team in ACME Acres.

    Gameplay

ACME All-Stars is a compilation of sports games, with added Tiny Toon twists such as extra obstacles and special moves. The two main attractions are the soccer and basketball modes, though there are also obstacle course, bowling, and "Montana hitting" (whack-a-mole) activities.

In the single-player Story mode, Buster and Babs Bunny (no relation) form a team with Plucky Duck and Hamton J. Pig and play through the various events, ultimately defeating Montana Max and his team. There are nine matches and a password system for continuing.

Players can also choose to play individual events, with up to four players simultaneously using the Team Player. In the obstacle course, bowling, and Montana hitting events, players play as Buster, Babs, Plucky, or Hampton.

In the two team sports, the player makes a team out of a selection of twelve characters from the show. Each character has his or her own special technique and different "Ace" moves for soccer and basketball, all of which cost Super Power to use. Super Power recovers over course of the game. The character passes out if the Super Power gauge is completely emptied.

    Venues

In soccer and basketball games, the player has a choice between four different pitches or arenas:

    • Stadium: A standard stadium with no twists.
    • Western: A western-themed environment with kicking horses in the corners of the field and rolling barrels.
    • Forest: A forest with bushes that can cause characters to slip.
    • Downtown: An urban environment with oil puddles that can cause characters to slip.
    • Monty's Playroom: A playroom with a model train and toy cars running through it that can obstruct characters.

    Sports

    ACME All-Stars, Games, Soccer.png

    Soccer
A simplified four-on-four version of football, with no fouls, offsides, or penalties. The last team member chosen is the goalkeeper, who is controlled entirely by the computer. The D-Pad moves the character.

On offense, A shoots the ball and B passes it. C activates the character's special technique; while the special technique is active, C again cancels it and A performs the character's Ace move.

On defense, A tackles and B switches character.

    ACME All-Stars, Games, Basketball.png

    Basketball
A similarly simplified three-on-three version of basketball. The D-Pad moves the character.

On offense, A jumps and A again shoots or B passes (the character automatically shoots if neither button is pressed before landing to avoid traveling). B passes. C activates the character's special technique; while the special technique is active, C again cancels it and A performs the character's Ace move.

On defense, A tackles and B switches character.

    ACME All-Stars, Games, Obstacle Course.png

    Obstacle Course
A running race of three laps around a course filled with obstacles. The player must regularly tap A, B, or C to keep running, and the D-Pad maneuvers. Getting hit by obstacles slows the character down. Items scattered around the course can cause the character to accelerate, decelerate, change positions with another character, or become temporarily invulnerable.

    ACME All-Stars, Games, Bowling.png

    Bowling
A simple game of bowling played over five frames. The player positions the character with Up and Down and sets the speed of the throw with Left and Right. Then the player chooses an angle for the ball and throws it with A, B, or C.

    ACME All-Stars, Games, Montana Hitting.png

    Montana Hitting
A whack-a-mole game in which the objective is to hit as many Montana Maxes as possible within the time limit. Points are deducted for hitting Elmyra or Dizzy Devil. The D-Pad moves the character and A, B, or C swings the mallet. Gogo Dodo drops bombs that the characters must avoid.
