Enduro Racer (エンデューロレーサー) is a 1986 racing arcade game designed by Yu Suzuki and developed by Sega AM2. It is extremely similar to Hang-On, using the same engine and base hardware (which is based on Space Harrier) but featuring dirt bikes. There are also numerous additions such as jumps and hills (the latter being used again in OutRun). Like Hang-On, sit-down arcade cabinets in the shape of bikes were produced, which if moved would control the player on-screen.
Like many of AM2's early arcade game, Enduro Racer was ported to the Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum, all with significant cutbacks and original music (except for the Spectrum and CPC ports, which used the original music and no music, respectively). It was also ported to the Sega Master System in 1987, but unlike the ports of OutRun, Space Harrier and Hang-On the view was changed from a third person perspective from behind the player to a top-down oblique perspective, similar to Paperboy. This version was brought to the Wii's Virtual Console service in 2008. In Brazil, the Master System release of the game was re-named Super Cross.
