The Sega New Challenge Conference '99 was an event which occurred in June 1999 to both inform the Japanese public about the previous six months of the Sega Dreamcast, and announce plans for the future. It was a follow up to the original Sega New Challenge Conference, in which the Dreamcast was formely introduced.

The event was overshadowed by Sega's recent financial reports, which highlighted the company's ¥45bn loss and the axing of 1,000 jobs[2]. Sega announced more details concerning the then-upcoming Western launches, research it had gathered on Dreamcast users and sales, and a few upcoming games.
