Version comparisons
The Mega Drive version is notable for including five additional playable characters and three new stages (The Lab, The Wasteland, and Yasko Mines) over its Super Famicom counterpart. Unfortunately, the game's story mode is shorter than its Nintendo cousin, but as a bonus, players can also walk down the stairs past Gargoyle's Peak to fight a blue version of Beast. The Amiga release is a port of the Mega Drive version, but the game's background animations have been removed, and also features less songs than the original.
